CLUB CULTURE EVOLVING

Dance culture changes by the day, but one Denver nightlife destination always stays on beat. Between world-class bookings, unparalleled production values, and a second-to-none crowd experience, no weekend in the city is complete without a visit to Beta Nightclub.

Beta has come to symbolize the past, present and future of the Mile High’s buzzing nightlife community. In 2007, beloved event promoter and Beatport co-founder Brad Roulier took over a lease on the corner of 19th and Blake. After a soft launch in March of the following year, Beta Nightclub’s grand opening took place on Memorial Day Weekend of 2008 and was headlined by none other than superstar DJ Danny Tenaglia.

Roulier fitted his new venue with a state-of-the-art Funktion-One sound system when only a handful of U.S. nightclubs could say the same. It didn’t take long for Beta to become a favorite stop on the tours of such world-class DJs as deadmau5, Kaskade and Armin Van Buuren, and its programming remains a cut above the rest of the market to this day. As a result, Beta Nightclub has racked up its fair share of accolades over the years – including DJMag’s coveted #1 Nightclub in North America award in 2011!

From the day our doors opened to the public, Beta also raised the bar on nightlife eco-sustainability. The venue as a whole boasts a 90% green rating, and theLOUNGE upstairs is 100% green! By implementing a comprehensive recycling program as well as using sustainable and recycled materials during renovations, Beta Nightclub has all but neutralized our environmental impact.

With nearly a decade in the books, Beta Nightclub stands as monument to the forward-thinking nightlife scene that first put Denver on the map. We pride ourselves on keeping up with what changes may come – not only in the music, but the culture and technology surrounding it – and you can hear for yourself how it resonates from every surface of the building.
